Spring Carnival!

Join in the magic and fun on Friday, June 2nd from 6:30-8:30 pm for our annual Spring Carnival!  This year's event features Louie Fox's One-Man Side Show (7:30-8pm) an award winning magician seen on "America's Got Talent".

Other activities include:

  • face painting
  • inflatables
  • spin art
  • balloon twisting
  • popcorn
  • cotton candy
  • Mini Auction- Classroom art and gift baskets

Wristbands for this event are just $10/ student when you purchase online and $12/student at the door.  Preschoolers are free, but still require registration and a wristband. The deadline for online ordering is May 31st.

A delicious BBQ dinner will be provided by Inglemoor QFC. Tickets are $5/ person and can be purchased here

Our students have been hard at work collaborating on classroom art projects and gift baskets for our mini auction.  These will be displayed in the gym for bidding during the fair.

Bike to School
Our first ever Bike to School Day is Friday, May 26th!  May is national Bike to School Month, an initiative to encourage more students to bike to school.  Biking is a great way to stay active, connect with your community, and reduce traffic congestion.  We will be cheering on riders and passing out prizes on Friday morning.  Be sure to come early so you can help cheer on our bikers! Camp out with Reading Book Fair

Hopelink Pantry Packs Drive
Hopelink Pantry Packs provides weekend packs of food for approximately 650 LWSD students.  With community donations of kid-friendly food and funds, volunteers "pack the packs" at Hopelink's warehouse.  The packs are then delivered to schools in our community to be distributed to students.
